MATCH REPORT
After a last-minute call off on Sunday, Dundee West 2006 Royals faced a trip to Dundee Thistle to play their game in hand from the previous cancelled fixture. The team were looking forward to it, having not played the Sunday, and were fired up to pick up much needed points to maintain 2nd place.

1-0: Clark opened the scoring 2mins in with a neat finish.

2-0: Mitchell burst up the line a minute later, firing in a cross to Storrie, who finished well on the volley.

3-0: Clark made it 3 on 15mins, after a great save by the Thistle keeper, but the rebound left an open goal and an easy finish.

4-0: Smith played a superb ball up the line to Mitchell, who crossed low into Paton’s feet, and after settling the ball, finished superbly high into the net with 21mins gone.

5-0: On 24mins, Mitchell got himself on the scoresheet with a cool finish from the edge of the box, in off the left hand post.

6-0: Paton grabbed a second on 29mins, with some tidy control and footwork to beat the Thistle defence, and slotted low past the keeper.

7-0: With 4mins to go until half time, Paton completed his hat-trick with another tidy finish, after a Mitchells cut back from wide on the right.

Half-time: Dundee Thistle 0 – 7 Dundee West Royals
Substitution at HT = Mitchell off, Chalmers on.

8-0: 1min into the second half, Morris grabbed a goal with a good run up the left wing and a good finish low into the far corner.

9-0: On 42mins, Storrie scored his second, after a good ball from deep by Smith, leaving him in on goal with a simple finish.

10-0: Smith grabbed a goal himself after a few assists, with 20mins still to play.

Substitution 52mins = Storrie and Gibson off, McManamon and Gilmurray on.

11-0: Paton found the net again on 53mins, bringing his tally to 4 for the night.

12-0: McManamon got on the scoresheet 1min later, when he broke free and picked out the far corner with a good finish.

13-0: McManamon then grabbed a second with another good finish on 59mins.

14-0: With 2mins left of the game, Chalmers added yet another goal with an easy finish in the box.
