REMINDER ABOUT PARKING ARRANGEMENTS & VISITING CHARLOTTE STREET PLAYING FIELDS & ASTRO.
Dear Club Members & Visitors of Charlotte Street,
Please note, the Car Park at Charlotte St is to be used by Dundee West Coaches, Officials, Lead Coaches of opponents who are carrying kit and also blue badge holder only.
If local, please leave your car at home where possible and walk to pitches.
If you must bring your car as please DO NOT enter Charlotte Street at all.
Please avoid Charlotte St, Charlotte Close and bottom of West School Road area which sits close to Charlotte Street.
Its all tight streets around this area and it will likely cause traffic to be jammed in both directions, which in turn leads to inconsiderate parking and can cause issues for Emergency Vehicles from the ambulance depot to pass safely and quickly.
Parents and opponents should park well away from the playing fields and allow time to walk round.
Park sensibly:
· DO NOT park on pavements
· DO NOT block driveways
· DO NOT park on corners of junctions.
Please use:
1. Strathmartine Rd
2. Camperdown Rd
3. Rannoch Road
4. West School Rd (Macalpine Rd end)
5. Retail park
We only have limited parking spaces in Charlotte St car park and a 1/3 of these spaces are taken up by local residents each day.
Furthermore, when visiting our fantastic 3G facility, can we please ask everyone to consider looking after the ground and ensure any rubbish is put into the bin. DO NOT throw your rubbish on the ground during/after training/games.
The facility can be busy over the weekend with games and opponents, therefore it is vitally important everyone plays their part to keep the place clear of any rubbish.
