13 year old Bobby McGinnis who plays for the West 2008 Yellows has recently been diagnosed with Leukaemia.
Bobby is currently in Edinburgh Sick Children’s Hospital and these last few weeks from being diagnosed and bravely taking on the treatment has been really tough for Bobby and his family.
Stacey, (Bobby’s mum) is currently with Bobby in Edinburgh and we want to raise this cash to help remove any financial burdens at this time.
Bobby who is a pupil at St Pauls Academy is the most polite, caring loveable and funny young man.
He has been at Dundee West since Fun 4s age group and is an important member of the Dundee West Yellows 08s.
Many of his teammates and also players from the West 2008 Reds and Royals have been friends since Primary 1.
The 2008 Yellows have been doing an amazing job with other team fundraisers, sponsor walks and also keeping Bobby’s spirits up with get well messages and videos.
We all wish Bobby a full and speedy recovery and as a Club we want to support the great work which the 08 Yellows have done and get behind the attached crowd funding appeal. Any donation large or small would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for reading and let’s share far and wide to help out the family at this most stressful time.
