So after our outing last weekin Perth, we were looking to build and continue our performance from the Scottish.
1st Half
Right from the off we were at it and inside 2 mins we were 1 up and pressing to get the 2nd which followed soon after(10 mins) we were all over Celtic and never gave them a second on ball
After 20 mins we were 4-0 up with Declan Mason getting all four goals, we recently changed Declan’s position from Right Mid to Striker and it’s proved a great change with Declan scoring 6 goals in 2 games.
As the half continued we played some excellent football all over the Park winning the 1st and 2nd ball in all areas Rourke Davidson Owen Lockhart and Josh Abott were completely bossing the midfield showing they all had great engines getting up and down the park.
30 mins into and Dundee West are 6-0 up with another 2 goals from Andrew Cameron
32 mins in then a lack of concentration cost us with a short back pass with the Celtic nipping in and slotting home.

Into the second and we asked the boys to continue playing the same way and not to let Celtic back into the game.
Again we started strong with lots of pressure and chances to increase our lead but we found the Celtic keeper in great form in the 2nd half, not to be undone we continue to press Celtic and we eventually made it 7 through halftime sub James Valentine, Celtic by this point we’re down and out although they create another opportunity which they took well making the score 7-2, the boys picked themselves back up and continued to control the possession.
20 mins we changed our formation to 3-5-2 putting James Hargreaves upfront alongside Ayo and although we created more chances we just couldn’t take them then up pops James ONeil ( half time sub)who picked up a loose ball cut inside and hit an absolute rocket into the top corner from about 25yards out.
Our Defence and Goalkeeper were largely untroubled throughout, but ensuring we had a solid defence and performing well through out.
